It's Time.

Durel has informed me, over and over, that football season is about to begin.  To him, this is like Christmas.  For me, the equivalent is...when Starbucks brings back the pumpkin spice latte?  Which they have, to my delight.

Tonight, the Saints play.  Our household is on alert.  Jack, despite being a bit off-kilter with his first ear infection (more on that later; boo), is about to enter a new phase of his relationship with his dear Dad:  Football Season.

And I will obligingly post pictures of the fun that ensues.

For now, we'll have to satisfy ourselves with a quick flashback:

And proof that Jack is ready for this chapter:

Geaux baby.  Geaux Saints!

Hope this finds you well (and ready for football season),
Heather

  1. Adorable, but I feel your pain! :) Football season has taken over at our house too and this year, Jonah is not excused from wearing the burnt orange garb because "he's big enough and now knows he wants to wear it!" (said one enthusiastic father).

  2. Last night while watching football, Justin mentioned how excited he is to be a parent (in 3 to 5 years). I now wonder if it's because he was imagining our future children dressed up in football costumes...

  3. Ha! I am glad I'm not alone here! Jonah and the future mini-Caldwell/Dove will share in the festivities!
