Yum

Tuesday, August 16, 2011

I don't have much of a sweet tooth.  I prefer a bagel over a donut, 100% of the time.  I prefer queso as an appetizer over any dessert, 100% of the time.  I did eat a hell of a lot of chocolate cake while pregnant, but I blame that on Jack.  Because the kid has a sweet tooth.

Part of me thinks that's inevitable, though.  Because sweets are good!  And let's face it.  If you've been alive for like a year and a half, and someone hands you your first chocolate chip cookie, what are you going to do?  Freak your freak.  Because it's GOOD.  And you've never HAD one before.  And suddenly, you realize that the world (aka, your parents) has been holding out on you.  From that moment on, you crave the good stuff.

Enter, Jack's love affair with a chocolate chip cookie from this weekend.

Disclaimer:  We give him lots of fruits and veggies.  Promise.  But seriously, look at that kid.

Hope your weekend had chocolate chips in it,
Heather

  4. So good! I am a total sweet tooth gal. I could eat cookies for every meal, all day. Sigh.
